Roger’s advice on getting the diff and Haldex fluid serviced is 110% correct . Other systems using the same set up like Audi and VW have it as a service item where as LR say it’s not necessary . When you see the state of the fluids and filters at 50000 miles I’d say VW have it right .

Thank you all so very much. I will take note of your advice and act on it accordingly. The dealer says it also has had the cam belt changed which seems a bit premature to me but what do I know

You wouldn't get a 2013 Metropolis - they didn't arrive until 14MY.
