I note that JLR have finally killed off InControl for 20MY L494, which presumably will filter down to all other models within the existing portfolio.

My wife’s Mokka came with both Apple car play & Android auto as standard, unlike the rip off price Land Rover charge for it. Apple car play is brilliant, wish my Freelander had it. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

My wife's cheap little Corsa has it as standard...frankly it's embarrassing that LR are even thinking about charging for it!

Both Lr & Volvo are rip off merchants, Vauxhall Mokka brand new cost £20kish as I said has Apple car play & Android car play as standard.. all you do is go into settings and tick what you want to use . Buy a £50k Land Rover and they rip you off for another £200 Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Have to agree with Purplemadboy, when you are spending what new LR models currently cost these days, you would not expect a further £200 surcharge to tick a box on (presumably) Pathfinder to allow CarPlay/AndroidAuto...if it's already there in the background, then it should be unlocked as standard. Greedy dealers methinks! |

They will charge you £243 inc VAT if you go in and ask your dealer to activate it.

Just out of interest j77, what does the Land Rover tile do (bottom left of your screen grab) when you press it? Does that open up InControl? Or something totally different? |

Ha ha ha, I see....I did wonder! Somebody on here or other likened the graphics to that of an Atari back in the early 80's......can't say that I disagree with that assertion! |
