Freelander 1 facelift TD4 Cluch replacement

Does anyone know if the propshaft needs to be removed to replace clutch in a facelift TD4 Freelander 1?

Appreciate this was a while ago, but in case someone wants to know: yes.

You need to remove the IRD before you can split the main gearbox to get at the clutch, so the prop has to come off.
Its only 12 bolts though; quick to do... Current: FL2 TD4 2008 HSE

I never had enough clearance on the front to remove it from the IRD, without removing from the VCU backwards.
Probably needed a bigger Landrover Tool #1. (hammer!)
