Hi, I’ve bought the new screen unit with sat nav to fit in the cubby hole above the existing radio/cd player.
Impossible to understand the wiring to existing car wiring and nothing floating around on the Xtrons site or forums. Manual and user instructions useless! My question is how or where do you get power to the unit and still be able to use the existing car radio/ cd? There are just 2 wiring blocks going to the existing radio from the car and nothing else. Xtrons provide 2 ISO wiring harnesses with blocks that don’t seem to go anywhere or connect to anything on the car?!?!
Am I missing something? Help needed, thx a mill.
Car is a 2009 Freelander 2 with the basic audio and speaker system.

I just installed mine last week. Very easy, just unplug the connector on the back of your headunit and plug it into the xtron harness then plug the other end of the harness back into your head unit. It will power on with your headunit and sound output will be to the aux setting.
