Re: flat-spottng tyres - my Jaguar sometimes stands a fortnight or more without being used. Certainly, flat-spots in the tyres caused by standing are noticeable when first setting off on a smooth road and driving slowly. As speed increases and the tyres warm, the flat spots quickly disappear. I don;t think they would be the cause of occasional vibration problems. Currently enjoying:
