Where to 4WD Close to Perth?

Hey does anyone here know of any places to 4WD close to Perth? i was looking for somewhere with easy access to go after work while we still have daylight saving... I have heard there is some tracks near Banksia Grove, but have no idea where.

Yeh Pipidinny is all sand in dunes or beach. I havent done the power tracks either, looks like a good track, however i'm a bit worried about ground clearance on the FL2. Theres some big holes there! Shocked

Strange to hear you're looking for 4WD areas in Aus. Most of the country is 4WD territory! Now Belgium, that's another question. Though we do have one or two old quarries set up for it.

By the way, I lived a few years in Oman in the Middle East. The sand duning and wadi-bashing were superb. I had a 4 litre Jeep Wrangler then. I used to go on the dunes after work.

If anyone's got some good tips for 4WD-ing in Belgium (legally), that would be welcome.
