2013 GS Bluetooth Conectivity Issue

Morning All,
Newbie here,
Always wanted one of these and finally got around to acquiring one Very Happy
Only have one issue, I cant connect to Bluetooth ? If I select Phone in the Menu, display reports, NO PHONES, searching for Bluetooth with a Phone, NO output is detected from the Car ? So, is it an hardware issue or software issue?

For the hardware issue, searching the forum, tells you the module is located in the Headunit, with trepidation I took the facia apart, and found..........Parrot CK5050NEW.......Bluetooth module Very Happy .

So I have the hardware fitted, next step what setting in CCF, should be enabled for the Bluetooth to work.

All works fine on my car linking to my MotoG5. Could your phone be the problem? MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

Hi blacktiger,
The phone works, it connects to other Bluetooth devices, I have tried other phones and they all don't report any Bluetooth name from the LR

OK, sounds like the car then. I'm not an expert on Bluetooth. Good luck. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

Update,
I acquired a second hand head unit from a certain auction site, removed the old unit, fitted the replacement unit, and the Bluetooth is now working.
The Bluetooth part is a Parrot CK5050New board, and I cant find them for sale anywhere, which is why I went for the replacement head unit.

Hi. You don't happen to remember what the part number for the head unit is do you. I'm in the same position and would like to get a replacement before I take the old one out. Thanks. Tony

Phone may be ok but have you checked it’s compatible with the car? Mines a 63 reg but can’t seem to link any iPhone later than the 7s! Had to send the 12 back as I wanted to keep hands free
