As yours is a 2010 I think it will complain about the lights or won't feed the electrics. Sure I read that on here somewhere. It's only the MY12 onwards that don't need any coding.

I know it will not move very much but that’s very little clearance to the silencer, is it an OEM exhaust or maybe a pattern part? Regards

Agree, seems very tight and box might vibrate against it , need to keep an eye on that If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

as far as I know the exhaust systems on FL2 are stainless steel from factory so should never need replacing so the back box is most likely to be the original .... unless a previous owner has fitted an i6 twin pipe back box or similar.

Stainless? If they are they are really $h!t stainless, the back box on my i6 is splitting along the seam and going rusty and the mid section pipes are very corroded, as for thew flange nuts and bolts they look more like mounds rust, no definition as nuts/bolts at all....... Regards

It’s been by the coast for three weeks.......so unless the “stainless steel” used by LR is supplied by Kleenex it ain’t the salt air that’s done it Regards
