When we ordered our car we thought the carpet would be black like the D3 in alpacca. Any idea how much it would cost to have it changed? (not by Carpet Right or Allied ) D4 HSE Lux for me

Hi pelyma, I've not seen an Alpaca leather with black carpet before but it don't sound too good - sorry....surely Alpaca leather with cream carpet is a better match as per my FL2 HSE, even though the carpet mats are quick to get grubby. I may cahnge the carpet mats in time to come for some easy cleam brown ones if Ican find some Any advice on this would be welcome |

This was an issue with the LR3 in the US alpacca meant light carpets, the black ones in my D3 with alpacca leather look good and are practical. I guess it depends how you are going to use the car. On the auto even the foot rest is carpeted Its ok if you are just going to use it in a suit, but start driving in wellies and off road and it is all going to be a nasty mess D4 HSE Lux for me

Hi carl, how about trying rubber mats on rainy days. They last long and don't let any water into the carpet. Easy to wash too. I think I will get a pair for those rainy days! |
