[SOLD] Metropolis 64 plate REDUCED

Hi, I'm not a usual poster on here, though a veteran on sister forum, Defender2 (and d3).. Thousands of posts.. https://www.defender2.net/forum/member-greeni.html
Also on Instagram @v8_scumbag so I'm easily checked out.

I'm going be honest as an honest thing, as they say, honesty pays..

Story goes..As a green oval fan, the missus has had an SD4 Ewok for nearly three years and has never once missed a beat, we often said that it's the best car we've ever owned.

I've had Defenders all my life, usually 2-3 at a time, though recently made a bad decision and had an old (though new) tdi again, turned out top be a lemon and I threw my toys out the pram and decided not to have a Defender as a daily again. (I have a v8 that I'll never sell though).

So, as the Ewok was the best we've had (and still have), I bought a FL2 as a daily, only a couple of months ago.

It's fantastic, bought genuine mats for it, colour coded the rear chrome strip across the boot..
But it's just not 'me'. So I'm selling it and wanting a Transit Sport Custom, as I ride trials bikes and this would fit the bill for me.

So, it's the Metropolis, with all the usual refinements, premium leather, memeory seats, heated steering wheel etc etc.
Everything works, the engine is sweet as a penny. It's done 95k miles and has no faults, HPI clear etc.. 1 previous owner
it's black and I'm looking for around £12,750

Is the one previous owner Jaguar Land Rover by any chance? Usually denoted by the first two letters on the registration number.....

Reduced, having looked on Auto Trader, I believe it's realistically priced.

GU is the prefix.

GU is 'Garden of England (Kent) office Brighton.

Very unlikely to be a JLR pre-owned vehicle.

The pool of liquid on the floor under the engine in your first pic does nothing for its sales appeal Whistle No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

"Fiat Lux" a philosophy not a car

GU is indeed Kent (ish) and not the usual JLR preFixes. Was it a dealer demo? Also, agree with westville re: Pic 1.....whilst most of us can assert that it is simply condensation from the AC drain pipe pooling underneath, to the fickle and unbeknowing at least, it is somewhat off-putting.

It's priced well, all things considered...have you had much interest?

No interest as yet. If you sit with the air-con running, you will get a puddle.

If you think that somebody would post a pic of their car for sale with a puddle of oil underneath Rolling with laughter it's not a defender Thumbs Up

This car is faultless and I'd invite ANY inspection. AA/RAC, your family mechanic or your know it all mate from the pub Mr. Green
