Dog Guards

Dog guard question.
Has anyone got a Travall TDG1063 fitted in their FL2?
There's quite a few on flea-bay for sale, just wondered if they're any good.
Always had genuine LR ones in previous cars, but they seem to be like hens teeth, or really expensive Shocked

Thanks for any input you may have.

Whereas with a genuine LR one, you most certainly can. (With or without Pongo in the boot!)

Why on earth would you want to put a Pongo in the boot?

Pongo = squaddie = private soldier. You know, where the army goes the pong goes.

PONGO.

Spanish "Pongo" = English "I PUT"

Hence, "Pongo" in boot = "I put" in boot.

No loss in translation. Whistle

I have this setup... Fido travels in the cage and half the boot space is available for other stuff. The load cover is as new indoors. Smile

According to the fitting instruction you CAN still use load cover.

In winter, generally yes, two pairs of wellies and associated dog stuff. When we are off with the caravan the half boot carries two crates of food and booze /mixers etc.

It works well and Fido is safe in his cage.

Not with the cargo divider / cage installed.

I can confirm that the load cover can still be used with both the Travall dog guard and the genuine LR dog guard, and both are snug fitting, well made and rattle free.

I decided not to rip my load cover down the middle in order for it work with the divider Whistle

Alternatively I have a Travall one in the garage - must get around to listing it Laughing
