caravaners help

Embarassed forgot to book on to a local caravan site at Beechwood Grange York for Spring bank at the end of may.

Checked CC website, but all local ones are fully booked Confused

Due to the new baby we'll have by then we want somewhere very local to leeds/york, with baby bathroom if possible

Open to suggestions, that won't involve a long journey Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

CG came through with the solution Bow down

From his link, found Goosewood Holiday Park

http://www.goosewood.co.uk/tourers/

Looks ok, they don't have a baby bath by the sounds of it, but we can use the baby bath in the shower so its not too much of a problem. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Evil or Very Mad thats getting close to my house Evil or Very Mad I'm surrounded by van sites Rolling Eyes

I drive right past this one in my tractor quite regularly to access a field we have a few miles from home, the residents have been known to get upset that I'm driving about 6ft from their vans at 11pm+ during the harvest season ( I do chose a high gear/low revs of course Laughing ). Interestingly the web site does mention the open sewage drain about 20 ft from the kids playground Confused ...thats 100% true it stinks to high heaven Shocked

Glad it seems you got fixed up NP, sorry no suggestion from here, not an area we are familiar with.

Here's some good news for CG Whistle, we are looking at a seasonal pitch for our van this year. If all goes to plan it will be parked up on a site for 8 months, thereby not trunddling around the highways and byways of the UK. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!
