put them on the wifes f/L havent noticed any difference in performance,but then again she drives sensibly .Look nicer with the golden finish |

You have to remember that the holes and grooves also reduce the disc area swept by the pads. So for the same amount of effort put into the pedal you’ll get less braking effect. |

Noticed the difference when I had grooved and drilled discs on my Impreza but that was a totally different beast to the Freelander. |

On a Freelander the answeer is no. If you really want better braking go for a higher performance pad (eg Tarox) and/or upgarde to the larger diam brakes from the petrol Freelander. I had grooved disks on my modded BMW but I went back to standard disks with Tarox pads as the grooved disks hummed a lot and and really irritated me. Jules |
