Are you sure you don't have Dab , my 2012 Sport Le has the Alpine system and it is standard fit I'm pretty sure .

Its a long read ........... but it details the history of DAB in early and later Freelander 2 vehicles.

I think that the "digital" here is a reference to using a digital phase locked loop in the FM tuner ie its a bit of misleading marketing. My current 14 reg has DAB but I rarely use it as the signal where I live is patchy. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Leeson's expression for single-sideband (SSB) phase noise in dBc/Hz (decibels relative to output level per Hertz) is L ( f m ) = 10 log [ 1 2 ( [ f 0 2 Q l f m ] 2 + 1 ) ( f c f m + 1 ) ( F k T P s ) ] {\displaystyle L\left(f_{m}\right)=10\log \left[{\frac {1}{2}}\left(\left[{\frac {f_{0}}{2Q_{l}f_{m}}}\right]^{2}+1\right)\left({\frac {f_{c}}{f_{m}}}+1\right)\left({\frac {FkT}{P_{s}}}\right)\right]} where f0 is the output frequency, Ql is the loaded Q, fm is the offset ......... I rest my case ...... |
