I take out the rear seat bases every 6 months, before I go on tour. I have never taken out the rear seat backs, as I fold them down to use as an extended floor.

It's only a big job if you take that bar (20) out, however if you prefer an easier job, you just disconnect at the hinge points. All you need to do is 'waggle' a screwdriver at it. I'll find the link and post it later. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:- Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip, Bluetooth Music Streaming Module. |

Hello, did you manage to remove the bench seats? I pulled the lever (L) in the attached picture but can’t seem to figure out if I need to press or push the lever (?) towards the rear end of the car as it says in the video. Tried the method in video in the thread but the lever is too firm to push. Don’t wanna break it. Thank you. I’m in the same boat, a 2012 car upgrading to full leather. The video showing the screwdriver moving a lever - well the lever bit just doesn’t seem to be there on either my 2008 or 2012. The plastic contraption is the same but I can’t see the metal lever mechanism at all.
