Funny but both of my twin sons have bought Porsche 911s from different dealers and were advised not to bother with activating the built in trackers as in their opinion it was a waste of money paying the subscription. The argument was that they were usually stolen to order and put in a shipping container for export and that it was cheaper to buy GAP back to invoice insurance. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I’ve just bought 4 years GAP for a Suzuki my boy has coming on PCP , Dealer £359 , direct £129 . We’ve had two Defenders pinched , our neighbour one . We were told the same , that the cars would be containerised and gone . The last Defender had a very clever security system , but the police said the thieves were professional and using a very very specific box of tricks for LR thieving ... that’s how we ended up with a Freel2 , not enough cool factor , prestige , or Defender utility to be on the regular nicked list . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
