United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Stornoway Grey

It's one of the areas, along with a plastic steering wheel and no vent lighting which lets the FL2 down as a prestige vehicle. Not so much a design fault but cost cutting Sad

Yep, leather steering wheel on HSE.

I think a mod (led lighting) is required to address the issue, will have to take a look at the panels when removed. If I figure anything out I'll update here. Customisation: LED (CW) Internal Lighting, Re-badged Steering Wheel (black/silver badge), Wheel Caps (black/silver badge), Black Magic Tint, Santorini Black handles

Accessories: LR Chronograph, LR Golf Umbrella, LR Pen, LR Key Chain, LR Hat (blue), Rubber Boot Protector Mat, Side Steps, Mud Flaps, Body Side Mouldings

The 4 year old Audi A4 which the FL2 replaced (and was cheaper than the FL2) Thumbs Up

That wasn't available when I ordered otherwise I would have had it. It may seem a petty complaint but every time I drive the FL it annoys the hell out of me, the plastic feels awful. Censored

All Ford Fiesta's have a leather steering wheel as standard, so pretty poor in my opinion. It's bascially the bit you touch all the time (hopefully Shocked ) so should be leather!

I've not seen another XS with the style pack other than in a showroom. Saw the same seats in a RRS once though. You can tell the XS Style a mile off by the wheels! Very Happy 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue..

I've seen the carbon fibre wheel before, looks nice. I think that it by itself looks out of place (my opinion), however, in conjunction with other carbon fibre pieces you may have something. Customisation: LED (CW) Internal Lighting, Re-badged Steering Wheel (black/silver badge), Wheel Caps (black/silver badge), Black Magic Tint, Santorini Black handles

They also say it is available in a variety of wood finishes as well - may match the wooden (plastic) dash trim for those that have that option. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
