United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

To me the FL2 is an exception to the rule that earlier models look better than later models of the same design (think E type, MGB, Alfa Spider); the facelifted grille looks sooo much better. Nice one Thumbs Up FL2 2010 MY Lago Grey/Storm & Ebony Interior 2.2 TD4 HSE Auto

As LRNUT's post ..... for the Freelander 1 .......... but, in 1997.

In fact, if you workout the likes of the FL1 V6 (1999MY) and the FL1 facelift, the body lines are not that different.
I was the first, outside of LR, to facelift the FL1, front and rear bumpers. Something several have done here with the FL2.
Do you see a trend ? Yawn

When designing such models, why release the 'best design' first, then it is difficult to boldly improve on it.

Nice job. Thumbs Up

Are you doing the fog surrounds [with the silver ring - available from Dan or Powerful UK] and the rear chrome strip also? FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Yes fogs with silver surround.

I am not sure about silver tailgate, I am tempted to paint the original grey tailgate handle black

I, personally, would liked to have seen 'brows' on the FL2 .......... but more akin to the Evoque style.

The arch brows are there to pass MOT as who ever put the evoque wheels on also added spacers, no wonder it corners like its on rails!

They are just self adhesive half moon solid rubber trim added as with spacers the wheel would have extended passed wheel arch so a fail on MOT

you have done the facelift and started the Dynamic look, continue with that.

Should you fit HST sides and rear, you could end up with either a 'dogs dinner' or a 'trinket vehicle' ............. and we have enough of those on this forum already.

Plan what look you want and see it through. Your vehicle says a lot about the owner, adding bits ad-hoc in a random way could make your vehicle look like a Turkish Taxi.

I planned my version as a Adventure/Expedition vehicle. That is why I have spare wheel carrier on the back, the slide out kitchen from the boot and the electric tent on the roof.

Good Luck with 'YOUR' look.
