Hi Jannette, from the little information on your post it does sound an unlikely tale.

Hi Ian thanks for your help it’s a 20011 reg and 65000 on the clock , the guy at the garage just said he’d taken the plugs off and cleaned them up and it’s now working , on the screen it came up with traction faulty , but he says it’s now working , but I can only think that this will be for a short time , he also said it’s a problem with this freelander as were the plugs are they get dirty |

The Freelander 2 is a front wheel drive vehicle by default. When the 4 wheel drive system operates only then are the rear wheels driven. Jules |

Probably the most sensible post Larger Ed has made on this forum, so firstly just check your FL2 isn't of the 2wd variant. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:- Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip, Bluetooth Music Streaming Module. |

This is the bit I don't understand. Surely the default if no Haldex clutch is 2 wheel front drive. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |
