all you can really do is keep spares in the boot or glove box

think ouselves lucky.... it only takes about 5 mins to change a bulb in FL2 and you don't get scraped knuckles

my son has an Audi A6 Avant that came with standard xenons single bulb (same D3S as LR xenon bulbs) ... to change his headlight bulb you have to jack up the car, remove a wheel, unscrew some of the wheel arch trim, unscrew an access panel, then work by touch alone to get the old bulb out and the new one then put it all back together...... and the same for the other side. Thankfully his car comes with space saver and jack, we had a flat drive to work on but it still took 2 of us over an hour to do both sides.

crikey - what a job.

It makes a mockery of the french laws about keeping a set of spare bulbs in the car - but woe betide you if you dont. Jules
