Hill Desent Control

Should the HDC switch be illuminated at night? Mine doesn't, it works when presses, the dashboard light comes on but the switch itself is always dark. If it is meant to be illuminated, does anyone know whether a bulb can be changed or does it mean a complete new switch?

Mine is lit,
When hill descent went wrong, the light went out
When it was replaced under warranty, it was lit up.

Thanks, it's definitely weird, oh well the joys of having an older (2009) car I suppose.

Thanks, Land Rover righted an obvious wrong for your nicer (newer) model.
