Its the same on my HSE and probably the same on all FL2's with a deactivation switch on the dash. However I understand that the moan was about the first beep and radio muting when selecting reverse so if somebody cant live with that little discomfort then they should swap to another drive that dosent have beeps - if they can find one 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Well there's another error to be corrected in the LR manual, then.

On my XS the dash deactivation switch kills both front and rear sensors.

I'm pretty sure my SE is the same? [/quote] Yes, indeed also my SE dash board witch deactivates both front and rear sensors. I was wrong, probably heard other beeps which I couldn't locate thus allocated them to the rear sensors. |

I actually like that the thing mutes the radio. On my old car (Audi) the beeps were there but it wasn't muting the radio and I had to do it myself.
