Did you fix this, mine have not been an issue with the direction. |

I had forgotten about this upgrade - I changed my FL shortly after my last posting - I have ordered a couple of replacements on eBay for my current FL as they worked really well previously.

I have received the Ford washer jets, part no. 1 906 526, from memory the LR ones pull out from the bonnet side and the new ones just pop straight in.

I tried fitting but like PMG the spray patten was not good, hitting the top 1/3 of the windscreen and the roof, and I can not see how they can be adjusted down so I revert back to the LR ones, a shame because a fan patten would be much more effective.

I could not get the spray patten to give proper coverage - it was too high on the screen even when driving.

I will predicate my post with this caveat, I have not had to adjust my washer jets for well over 30+ years so I maybe seriously out of touch. Heck, first vehicle I've even owned with "heated" jets is the LR2

I am not sure if they would pass the MOT where they are hitting the screen - there are a couple of MOT testers in the forum who could advise. Any way the Ford part number is 1906529, there are a number that are available on eBay. I don’t know about the Ford washer jets but the mist/fan jets on my old works Peugeot van we’re just a slot and not adjustable at all. |

I have these mist sprays on my Discovery Sport and I’d have to say I find them a bit disconcerting as once they start spraying you can’t see where you’re going as the spray covers the entire field of view of the windscreen. I much prefer the simple jets of water on my FL2. |
