Just wondering, there's car that parks near by, and one of the front tyres is clearly half bald, I don't mean a little, I mean the outside if is a racing slick. I can't see the other side as the park the same way round always.

Why not stick a helpful note on their windscreen pointing out the bad wear and that it is probably due to bad tracking adjustment.

Grass's we may be (support note under windscreen idea) but the problem is the other persons lack on knowledge/interest/responsibilty could cause YOU a loss. Then all of a sudden it takes on a different significance. How would you feel if you suffered a loss because someone else was driving on defective tyres... this may sound extreme, but it happens everyday. The note on the windscreen is a bloody good starting point. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor ![]() ![]() Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013. |

Wouldn't you stop a drunk person stepping in his car? Yes, becouse they would react slower! Does not bald tyres have the same effect?

That's what was making me nervous, it's small road, and if they saw me, I'm sure they'd know who it was, even they I've never spoken to them. It's a house with 3 eastern europeans (not that it makes a difference), and I'm not sure how they'd reacte, if the police turned up, after they'd seen me putting a note. And it's that bald, that I don't think they could have not noticed, I did driving past it, and they walk towards it from that side everyday (and it does seem to be driven everyday as well) Thanks for the advise, I may be making a phone call tonight Rich |

Considering npinks remark and your observations I agree that you'd better simply contact the police without the note, as they do not seem to care themselves. |

That’s racism and you can be sent to jail or worse for that ![]() In any case if they saw you they might just come and vandalise your Freely one night ![]() Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

Avtur I've got protected NCD. I prefer to keep myself to myself that way I won't get stabbed by some knife maniac. If I saw someone in distress or an OAP getting mugged in the street I'd be straight in, (like I once did when I worked on Greg St, Reddish-got a chisle through my cheek, lost 2 teeth and 8 stitches) but to save some-one a potential loss-I DON'T THINK SO! But if you do warn the police, at least you've done something. It's the coppers responsibility from then on. Secondly, you pay for it anyway if the do something or not. You ca even say you pay more if an accident is the result. |
