Passenger airbag disabled

My 2007 Freelander is showing passenger airbag disabled but i haven't knowlingly disabled this. Can anyone suggest what i can do to stop this message appearing above my head everytime i start the engine. Many thanks in advance.

Does the light go off after starring? If so, it's normaal, if not, try to enable it by turn your key at passenger side of the dash 'per aspera ad astra'

OMG! I feel such a plonker. Only recently got the vehicle about six weeks ago and can't say i have noticed this before therefore thought there was something wrong. very many thanks for your help here.
