Not something I'd think worth doing for myself........ as even wind up windows would suit me. Laughing

But an absolute stunning job, well done. Bow down FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

You have just described me to a tee. Latest addition is a set of wind deflectors, yet to be fitted.

Final job to complete this project was the connection to the illumination circuit for the driver tailgate release switch.
JLR p’n LR040338, same as rear tailgate.
Switch gear illumination is supplied from pinout 32 in plug C3BP01G at the CJB but it easier to just take your feed from any feed into an illuminated switch, as I did as it’s all interconnected.

Bow down Bow down Bow down

Looks like there is just enough room to fit the ejector seat button! But I would not illuminate that one as it may attract unwanted attention! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

would that switch not have been better positioned where the dash lights rotary wheel is ? I'm guessing that having the switch there would be susceptible to getting hit with your feet as you get in and out (or is that just me with my monster feet ?)

For me this was the most logical spot.
1. Tailgate is disabled when doors locked and when I go to get out I can press the button and by the time I’m
At the rear of vehicle the tailgate has opened.
2. If I change my mind on position I can simply replace that small panel and you’d never know it was there.
3. There’s no way of making the switch look integrated in the position you’ve mentioned. It’s actually a module and the switch is pretty bulky. MY15

I think the boot switch location is good. I keep a spirit Level in the space next to the lights rotary dial as I don't bother putting in the car romote key fob in this location. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

fair enough, just wondered if it would fit into the recessed area (key fob holder) so its well out of the way, or would a replacement boot switch/light dimmer panel from an Evoque not fit in the same slot ?

I considered that also and even though it’s a “plug and play” affair the housing dimensions are different. MY15

Finally I got it work. Thank you so much for your help. I used a piggy fuse to connect to FB6 position. I'm very happy. Just have another question. when it close it not close completely do i need to adjust anything else to fix that?

Also I haven't mount this part

Yes, that’s what pulls the tailgate to it’s closed position. MY15
