The battery has had its day then I wonder if this is anything to do with the window problem ? |

So a bit of digging, for pre face lift prefix of 6G9T then the following seems to be true;

Battery shouldn’t be flat after two days. |

The used Control Unit arrived yesterday. I fitted it and everything is back to normal - locking is normal and the LH windows and mirror are also good. Moral of the story is, don't necessarily believe the new parts are the correct ones. These units do not appear to be compatible pre and post face lift. Many thanks to Vanny for pointing me in the right direction, saved me a fortune!
