Low on power

Help,
I have a 08 fl2, about a month ago i noticed fuel economy had dropped of a bit, had a look about engine couldn't find anything wrong, no fault codes in system, a guy I know has rolling road turns out only 110bhp.. should be 160 he checked mass air . flow and air filter system no faults.
He said it's not getting full boost, he isn't a landy expert... can anyone offer some help please.

Plenty of threads on here about cracked turbo pipes and some on intercoolers gunked up, so if you have confirmed that the boost pressure is lower than it should be, perhaps that might be a good place to start? 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

THANKS I'll have a look over the weekend, I have checked intercooler hoses and the intercooler it's self and no leaks,
If I remember i noticed lack of power and mpg after a 300 mile journey.
Only other thing that was changed was glow plugs as it was a fault code which when tested were knackered so got changed
Other than that it's been faultless..... well for a landy anyway.

You may not find the turbo hose leak unless you do a smoke injection test, there are parts you just can't get to. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Should you not be able to hear a turbo hose leak? 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Yes, but can you hear it over the engine noise? the turbo only produces boost under acceleration, if you are going to DIY it you need a smoke aerosol my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Split turbo hoses normally produce lots of noise under acceleration.

It could just be a stuck turbo actuator arm or the actuator itself.

Badger is correct that the arm does not get lubricated and sticks. You can get hold of it (just) from below, lubricate and move to free off possibly. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
