Good deal on General Grabber AT3

Went to my local tyre fitter today for a price on 4 General Grabber AT3 - £123 each or £492 for 4 fitted. I thought that was a bit dear so looked online.
Seller called Mytyres on ebay doing 4 with free delivery for £406.80.
But even better, Ebay have a 10% off promotion on today only from 8am - 8pm using the code PAYDAY for purchases over £50.
So my tyres delivered to the door will cost £366.12 and £36 will have them fitted and balanced.

£402.12 all in.
Very happy with that Thumbs Up

My searching and researching and procrastination over which tyres to go for is over, back to my favorite brand of tyres Bow down Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Bob, they're a chunky looking tyre, do you use them mainly on road? If so what are they like for road noise?

Not driven far on these ones yet but had their previous At pattern on my Discovery, not excessively noisy.
Predominantly road use, towing caravan, caravan sites, couple of rough stone lanes at my parents house and at a site we are buying to build on. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Interested on your feedback on them too, still don't know what direction to go on mine when it come to replacing the current Wranglers when they are done.

Liking the look of these, can we have an update and some pics?

I need to do the tyres on mine and the AT3 would be first choice as the old AT2's I had on my disco were the best tyres I ever had. North Wales Land Rover Club

Well 3500 miles in and nothing to report, ie, perfect tyre under every condition so far (except mud or snow). Not noticed any worse grip or noise over the previous Goodyears. No noticeable wear as expected. Towing twin axle caravan and triple axle trailer again uneventful. Perhaps 1 mpg or so less on fuel economy, I'm a happy owner. I've never had a single complaint about any General tyres, these are the 4th different tread pattern that I have used.
I'll take a photo tomorrow in daylight Thumbs Up Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Mytyres again

That ebay offer popped again up this week so I ordered the new General Snowgrabber plus.
£300 delivered for the four. Thumbs Up

Summer and winter now sorted, thanks for the heads up.

There are next to no "owners" reviews on these tyres yet, but it does say made in Czech Republic and I'm sure they get more snow to test them in than we ever will !
