Have 2013 model start stop.

Not sure its f1 have think might be f4 or even f6.
How do i check them as built into side of plastic case.

Have etc sensor on order. Is this different to sensor that tells instrument cluster coolant temp as thats accurate and working.

Further update.

Have got out multimeter checked conformity of all fuses including big ones 100amp 60amp ones. Engine bay.

All fuses working.

Have checked all fuses glove box
All ok.
Did find f15 30amps was incorrectly in f5

I hope this might be it.

Anybody know for sure f15 30amp 2013 start stop model is glow plugs?

I had to attend a non start f2 the other day, sprayed a squirt of easy start down air filter fired up run lovely, after interrogation of the owner it transpires his wife had put £20 of petrol in, needless to say the advice was to have the tank drained which he declined.he then filled up with diesel and took a chance.

Ok the nets closing in on fault.

Its ecu there is no increased delay the colder it gets.
If you press start button twice stopping it starting about 2 seconds.

Do this 4 or 5 times it starts.

If left to own device it wont.until you.turn it over for about 4-5 mins.

Conclusion glow plugs working.but not being.utilised.

Ecu needs software reset / update?

what if you leave just the ignition on for a while, and do a current drain test to see how long the glow plugs pull current.i think that they stop working as soon as the engine starts, unlike ,say dahiatsu 4 track where they carry on for 5 mins or so. with my old 07 reg hse if it was cold and my wife started the car normally ie pressed start clutch engaged, the ecu came up with a glow plug fault stored ,so on really cold days we would leave ign on for a bit before pressing clutch to start
