I have them as summer tyres... thus far I am not disappointed with them but they are still low mileage with only two summers usage. I paid over £500 for the four (fitted) too

I’ve have these tyres and done about 15000 miles on them with no issues, they replaced the continental UHPs I personally think they are just has good if not better more so in the wet. Remember they are just a road base tyre and they do that very well. I also run them all year round but most admit they do slide a bit on packed snow MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Only want for road use. If it snows I stay indoors with a bottle of something good. |

Mines wearing 255/55/18 ZX7's and so far they are the best tyres I've found for the Freelander 57 SE i6 |

Sorry to have to say very disappointed with wear, only managed 12000 miles before changing. Also picked up 5 punctures in less than a year, 1st puncture in 2nd week, had not had a puncture for at least 5 years previously. As I wanted a quiet running tyre, gone on to the new, Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 SUV. So far so good 5000 miles and quieter than the Avons. |

I also didn't fair well on the Avon zx7's. Only got around 15,000 miles before they wore badly on the outside edge. I have since tried to moderate my driving as it is apparently a common issue. Have already swapped back to wranglers. |

15000 miles that's not good at all I'm over 20000 miles on the Avons and still going strong. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Did you check your tracking before new set of tyres? |

The Avon brand in general should be half decent as it's owned by Cooper Tires. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

I did have the car laser checked for tracking and it wasnt that far out. Think I was a bit heavy on cornering as apparently most large sidewalled SUV's suffer with this. Learn't my lesson but still think they wore excessively compared to the Goodyears I now have. |
