Heated screen

Evening boys and girls.
I needed the heated screen for the first time this morning, sadly no heat what so ever.
I have not had a look at it yet so it could be both fuses but unlikely both have blown, the red light comes on at the switch ok but that it. Only had the car a couple of months so not sure how long the screen hasnt work for.
Just wondering if there are any regular traits i need to look for in the morning.
Thanks in advance.

Silly Question

Silly question, but do you have a heated screen?

I know you said you have a switch and it lights up, but is it possible that a previous owner has had the screen replaced at some point and put a non-heated one in? Can you see the fine wires in the glass?

I can see the elements in the glass.

Yorky Bob. I will have a look at that, X type Jags have that problem, the connector blocks rot away.
Cheers.

Had a quick look this evening and the fuses are ok, the connections are clean and dry.
I can not get continuity through the screen so i figure the elements have a break both sides.

I have recent stone damage and should claim a new screen. Maybe you have as well. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
