It is risky to have the car in for service. I always think of what will be wrong this time. For something is wrong, almost always. I had the car in for P014 last week, and now 3 minutes goes before my seat will be noticeably hot. Earlier this happen almost immediately. You can say there are trifles, yes, but it is annoying. Had the same problem with the auto gear stick after the service dept at the local dealers changed the light on the gearbox.

As for the auto.To move from park to reverse you have to push the knob in. From reverse you can go straight in to neutral or drive without pushing the knob in you can go from drive to neutral without the knob but it will not let you select reverse without the knob in 07my Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Baltic Blue,Privacy Glass,Ebony black leather,Land rover detachable towbar,S/S Side bars,Climair wind deflectors,Bramble Rash, |

the one touch windows is an easy fix, they disconnect the battery when doing the recall, this loses the top position measurement, just close all windows and then hold each switch in the up position one at a time until you hear a click from each regulator. hope this helps, Richh. they all do that! |
