Painting my13 grille

As a lot of other guys on here , my grille is starting to look a bit of a mess with the lacquer coming off, have had a few prices for repainting black spars and silver strip as per the dynamic model, my question to other guys who have had theirs painted , have there been any problems with paint staying on the plastic , stone chips etc, one place I went to would not touch it as he said it would be difficult to prep inside all the honeycombed bits so would chip off easily
Had two further prices neither said anything about possible problems

Hi mate 13 plate dynamic here, I got local sprayer to go full gloss black, looks awesome, not one single stone chip 6 month later. Cost 120
