Has anyone seen any BLACK Land Rover badges for the Freelander 2 - that fit?

I'm looking to replace all the green badges with black ones.

i believe the OEM black badges are slightly smaller

possible that the copy Ebay specials are different size, but i am not sure Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I bought the front & rear black badges and also the centre caps. The front badge was perfect but the problem was the rear badge off ebay (from the RR Sport) was smaller that the one already on there. Also had a issue with finding two for the side pillars so in the end I just gave up.

No help I know but thought I would throw in my penny's worth.

I Looked into this when I put the body kit on,
The OEM ones are off a superchaged RR,
The only ones that will fit are the steering wheel badge, The tailgate one sits in a recess and is bigger than the RR, like wise the front grill and rear pillars.
There is a company that can make them, but you have to order a min if 100 of each size-maybe Nick could organise one of his group buys.

I ordered them anyway, not like they are expensive. I've got a lot of photos to upload once I pickup my FL2 tomorrow afternoon (1:00pm). So Far I've gotten the following to install...

LEDs (boot and interior lights)
Clear/Chrome Side Lights
Black Badges (count me in if we get some made)
Black Body Side Mouldings (offical)
Front/Rear Sill Tread Plates (offical)
Kenwood DNX-7320 Touch Navigation system professionaly installed (Life Style Store). It's going up top in the storage area (same as LR SatNav). It will have Bluetooth, iPOD, DVD, Garmin GPS, USB, SD (map/poi upgrades), TV Tuner (?), Rear Parking Camera and video display from my iCOM radio.
A iCOM IC-7000 is replacing the double-din OEM radio, blank plate custom cut for the iCOM.

For work we use public and private (licensed) radio channels. We also have work sites out in remote areas and interstate.

Add to that the "gadget" aspect and it's simple.

I received notification for the eBay sellar that those black badges won't fit Freelander 2. I bought them anyway so I can see if there's a work around possible, will let everyone know. I've started a new thread about replacing the interior lights with LEDs, got photos too.

First badge replaced...

Oh, yes the display thing - I get CG's avatar on mine which is pretty annoying and I just wish I could get rid if it





ps: clue Dave - try photoshopping your photos  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Looks nice. Do you have a SE? Why or the panel changes?
