Bought Bearmach front mudflaps when I had previously had Powerful, the did not come with any brackets but the righthand one fits perfectly whilst the left hand one has the bottom hole spacing about 1 inch out with no place to securethe bottom of the mudflap

It is almost 4 years since I put them on the car. They were copies are the rear ones broke. The rear ones I have replaced with originals & also bought a spare rear set, so far they have lasted. The front ones were cut correctly & fitted without any modifications but I did replace all the screws with stainless & a bit heavier screws & short enough so they wouldn't scratch bodywork, as the supplied screws were crap, too light weight. Also put some very large SS washers where possible to spread load. I'll post some photos tomorrow. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

You have to pull off the small bit of white (my car) body panel. Then from memory the small piece of white panel unclips with a bit of a tug, to put on the bracket for the mud flap. There is a video somewhere on here which l looked at first which was very helpful.

Not sure which ones I bought for my last FL2, but they had brackets that were different on each side of car.

IanMetro - sound like the genuine front ones I fitted. The supporting brackets were handed and not symmetrical, and one required a bit of plastic trim to be cut away. I waxoyled the brackets, swapped all the screws for stainless and used larger stainless "penny" washers.

I watched the video before installing the front mud flaps & was a little concerned about having to modify the car, but I had bought the mud flaps, roof rack & other parts before I had got the car!
