Hi folks. Is there an 'index' of common interior rattle hotpots and their causes? Mrs rpaterson's has one that appears to come from somewhere around the centre console area and it's quite irritating

In my experience, FL2's interior fittings are quite well fixed on.

Don't know what model your wife's FL2 is, or any other clues, like when does it rattle, but most obvious is something under seats, or in gap next to seat

Have driven about 2000 km on corrugated roads which knocks things off cars & broke a bolt on the roof rack holding it down onto the roof. The odd noise here & there but they do come & go, centre dash & front passenger seatbelt b column fitting, has been quite lately. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Ta, it's a '56 3.2 HSE. Noise can happen all the time on any surface that's not billiard table-smooth. Seems to be coming from centre console area. Looking at other threads, a quick check of the bolt/screw under the passenger intake will be done prior to tearing the console apart...
