Big noise. Small pump.

Just pulling back in my driveway this afternoon and the small electric motor and housing started making a loud noise. Like either the bearings have gone or something has run dry. Any ideas what this pump is folks?

Read up about the Throttle Body. Fair chance it needs new one.

Yep. Looks like it’s that. Cheers for that. Guessing the plastic teeth have worn in the housing and that’s the noise it’s making while it’s spinning. Going to book it in with my friendly local garage. Would it be safe to drive round do you think?

If its the T Body for sure it should be OK to drive for a few days but don't leave it too long. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Thanks Yorky Bob. She’s in at the mo. £213 fitted.
Looked at doing it myself but thought £42 labour was ok.
Saved me rolling my sleeves up 😉
