Windscreen anti mist

Not sure where to post this but was wondering if anyone uses an anti-mist on the inside of their windscreen, if so what is a good one thats effective to use.

This is not for my Freelander as its garaged every night so its not affected by the frost/cold etc, its for my VW Transporter van 2004 T130, its a lovely van & I have owned it for 12 years now, its always been the same, as soon as the colder weather starts as soon as I start it & get in the windscreen gets covered in fog. When I drive off to work in the morning the sun is low in the sky now & shines straight into the foggy windscreen so much that I cant see a damn thing.

I have a pad thingy that I wipe the screen with, it helps but not enough, after a mile the heater kicks in & it clears fairly quickly. I see there are quite a few around on the bay but some are probably more durable than others so any recommendations much appreciated.

If the aircon is working OK i find clears really quick on any car, but have used the RainX anti-fog for the interior on my older cars with good results... just a wipe on product. And the standard RainX on the outside is awesome to do at same time.

Agree air conditioning & heating all up to windscreen. Humidity in winter in Sydney is a pain & AC speeds things up considerably. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

A very thin smear of washing up liquid and then buff with a microfiber. This keeps the misting at bay but you only want a tiny amount on.

i use CarPro Fog Fight on the wifes Corsa

No fog on the window in a morning at all, but low and behold you if you touch it, you see the fog forming on a morning if you do, which is a bit strange and you'll need to reapply

It can leave the windows a little smeared too, not crystal clear
