I think that Brexit is about boosting the Financial Services part of our economy, not the Manufacturing.

Actually it is going to hurt the UK Financial sector - it will be difficult for UK based banks to lend or provide financial services into the rest of Europe post Brexit because they will no longer be approved through the Financial Passport process.

Personally I think we will be ok after a bit as people will begin to see gaps in UK markets for them to get into. As for motor industry, well MG have fetched out a SUV. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

I might be wrong but I think that the MG SUV is made in China and only assembled in the UK.The MG company was sold to the Chinese a few years ago. |

There again it could be design, not much difference between the shapes of Jaguar SUV's LR and the rest of the world SUV, the only one to stand out is the FFRR and that sells well in its niche sector, you want a car that stands out at LR prices not get lost in the woods of multiple SUV trees my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

There is no manufacturing or assembly in the UK, they closed down final finishing in this country at least two years ago. This is a Chinese car, pure and simple. |
