As far as I am aware, the interior lights are a traditional on/off supply controlled by the CJB and have no fault detection and thus will not suffer from "CANbus" type issues.

The problem is with the two interior festoon bulbs when they should be off they produce a after glow. The other interior lights are normally fine to change to led even the boot light(which is a festoon). If you get led bulbs canbus ones would be a good choice(even if not needed). If you have front map lights these must be no polarity bulbs(ba9s type). |

Likewise, changed all interior lights to LEDs without any problems. Beware though, some are a bit fiddly to change. 11 GS Bali Blue

Is there any benefit to fitting led lamps to interior? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Brighter light, less current used, so if the kids happened to leave them on overnight it shouldn't flatten the battery (hopefully) Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Not wishing to hijack this thread but what size LED festoons are the roof lights and the boot light please for my FL2 2013 GS? And does anyone recommend a supplier? Thanks |

I can’t remember the sizes but PowerfulUK do a complete kit for interior LED lights.

Than ks Derek, appreciate that. Yes, I know about PowerfulUK but their kit includes too many bulbs for my GS. I only need 3 and their kit has 7 I think. Thanks for your response though. I'll praps take one out an measure it. |
