My son recently renewed the insurance on his 2010 Audi A5 2.0TDi convertible. He is 25 with max 8 years no claims and no points (but no insurance company will protect his no claims due to age !)

So a couple of hours later and a few other sites and put all my details back into a new quote on LV. Now comes out under a 10% increase instead of 23%. I can stand that as I used to get a 2 policy discount and insurance tax went up a few months ago but why oh why do we have to go through all of this carp. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Might be worth trying LV's multicar policy and seeing what that comes up with as a combined price? Might work out or might not depending on which underwriters they use - I know they use different ones for different policy types which will make a difference to the prices.
