Not able to recommend a garage but to help cash flow you could do it in differing chunks.

I took mine to North Eastern 4x4, never again. They took paint off the front bumper when they got too close with a pressure washer. Didn't notice till I got home either. And I wasn't awfully sure they did the service properly. Heard some horror stories about them from a guy I know who used to own a disco and fl1. |

That's good to know Steven, I was curious what other peoples experiences were. I had an abs sensor diagnosed and put right quite quickly. Did you contact them about the paint missing in the bumper? |

I didn't contact them no, the way they were with me when I was there I decided they would probably just say it was already like it and that I had no way to prove it. Besides, I wanted it redoing properly rather than just bodging cheaply like they might have done. |

Hi All. Thought I’d resurrect this thread instead of starting a fresh one. I’m also due a big service with belts etc and I’m North East based. I previously used Durham 4x4 for odd jobs on my old Discovery 3 but never for a big service etc. Is the general consensus that they’re the place to go? I’ve heard mixed reviews about Tanfield 4x4, has anyone had any dealings? Cheers |
