Online Service History

Hi has anyone been able to update their service history online via TOPIx I did it last year but it appears that the facility is now only available to dealers.

If you are DIY servicer the best you can do now is :

Go to
https://osh.landrover.com/
submit your VIN
select country
shows last service undertaken

click SERVICING HISTORY to get printable list of all services undertaken inc "owner updated" (if any entered before changes)

click SERVICING INFORMATION and select SERVICE TYPE and submit to get service schedule (dated and timed with VIN) This can be printed for you to tick , sign and keep. Jules

Or just as I do keep a comprehensive spreadsheet and keep receipts of parts purchased to prove a least something tangible. A stamp in a service book never really proved anything. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Yes I have a spreadsheet for all our vehicles and photo the work done and link them to the spreadsheet.

Its a bit anal but I like doing that sort of stuff Jules

I do the labour now on the servicing if the amount seems low to anyone. Only used dealer in warranty period. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Like Jules I update the service history on the osh site. Cannot see any reason to use dealer network for service PROVIDING you use a trusted Indy at usually half the cost. The important thing is that they use the correct oil rather than that in the 40 gallon barrel tucked away in the corner. If unsure take your own - any trusted indy would be happy to accept this and discount the cost from his bill. Remember that the vast majority of 4 year old plus FL2's go to auction. When I traded my GS at 4yo the salesman from Listers just walked around it and didn't even get in. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
