2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Firenze Red

Back to the dealer after one week (not JLR)

One week on the Freelander is already booked in next monday for the battery to be checked (the mirrors squeaking I fixed) Today I decided to check the oil/water. Opened the bonnet and noticed I could see the air filter, odd I thought then guessed as I could see it was new that they had not bolted it down properly. Looking closer its obvious they have broke the top of the air filter box and left it... So a trip to see them and on the way I noticed every time I went from 1st to 2nd the car judders like a clutch judder, doesn't do it when pulling off in 1st just 2nd??
Hope its something simple I reckon my 3 months warranty will be used

That’s terrible. Doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in the dealer. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

No a Nissan main dealer (I bought it from them last week), they looked at it this afternoon and agreed they will have to order a new air filter box. I just hope the rest of the service was done properly!!!!

Yes although I would have played merry hell if they didnt, thinking about it the way it broke must have created a noise when it snapped off, maybe the mechanic was wearing ear plugs

Should have been changed following that repair after that crumple zone hit it. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Perhaps you should edit the title? Everyone will think its a JLR dealer not a Nissan dealer!
