Re: New Freelander 2 - cubby box

I've got the premium pack and you are correct theres a store sliding thing. Thats where i put my coins and fuel card etc. Looks a lot better than those ebay things. God they are ugly Shocked

That's exactly what I want, Dorko ! I can't find a picture of it on the net, but I'll keep searching. I also think that these Wood Compant cubby boxes might be useful, but in my opinion they look awful. Thank everybody for your replies. Wim

Just out of interest do LR sell this little box separately, cost and part number please ? Do they come in different colours eg alpaca? Could be useful to hide your iPod from prying eyes.

I have one fitted to mine, I got it from my local dealer and is a very easy fit. Thereno colour options, this is how they come on all premuim pack models.

But they are about £50 retail inc VAT.

I live in Belgium, but not Belgian. I was in the showroom yesterday, chosing options.

The 'cubby box' is described in the French accessories booklet as:
"Console centrale avec compartiment de rangement a systeme de fermature" Now that sounds like £50 - though the reality is disappointing. (With the Premium Pack).

This is a design failure to me. It will be real pain not to have a camparment at hand for the odds and ends.
