Except that doesn't work when you know the ground isn't level and you have the car on "Camper" levelling wedges.

Indeed, all hilarious replies but it's a serious question as I'm about to change the auto box fluid so I need to make sure that the car is level. |

I've done some very rough maths, and if I'm correct if you are on a 5 degree slope (roughly a 1 in 20) it'll make 0.5 mm difference to the reading on your dipstick.

In that case I'd trust a Spirit Level on the door sill. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |

Our garage floor is level. The level needs to be at this front edge.

But surely you'll need to jack the FL2 up to do this............ FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:- Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip, Bluetooth Music Streaming Module. |

Wow! I was pondering this exact same question on Friday night, tried the search facility but could find nothing relevant!

I have an App on my phone called "Bubble Level" which acts as a Spirit level. I lay the phone where Lightwater's photo shows his. Works well enough to get the car level(ish) for when I sleep in the back. It's quite surprising how UNlevel the car can be even though it looks level when you're up the top of a mountain where nothing is horizontal. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |
