Heater matrix has started leaking coolant on my wife’s ‘07 FL2 TD4 auto.... wet carpets in passenger footwell, steam from vents, etc. Will get it replaced ASAP but on holiday for the next 2 days so I need to limp it home first... and of course all my manuals are at home

Just checked the workshop manual - to paraphrase - just fill it with coolant and run the engine at 2000rpm with cabin heater on - top up coolant as air is placed from system until level becomes stable. Jules |

Your AC drain pipe just under the centre console may just be blocked are you loosing a lot of coolant ? If not go and check that. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |
