I get to the tunnel at just before 6am or 6pm depending upon whether I'm on an early or night shift. Either way it's moving slowly. Would move quicker if there wasn't the constant lane hopping |

I have a 27 mile commute to work, all rural A and B roads, light traffic, no hold ups - bliss

Don't forget that London is very large and very varied. Most people tend to get to know their area and feel pretty safe. I had no problem walking around SE London, including some of the dodgier bits, but was less confident in areas I didn't know. A lot of the crime is against people who aren't street wise (walking along staring at their phone, or reading a map - might as well shout "I am a tourist") or is contained within small sections of the community. On the whole the kids won't knife you unless you're an obvious potential muggee. They're far more interested in knifing each other. And they generally only shoot each other too, although they are so bad at it they nail the occasional passer-by as well.

Too many CG and all big detached with no real gardens and limited parking. The local services wont' be able to cope in North Yorkshire at this rate. The developers are not interested in build homes for the youngsters looking for a first home near work. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Its the same everywhere - from Nuneaton to Skipton - houses going up on crowded sites - no attention paid to the impact on traffic congestion, schools, GP surgeries etc

Our village needs more houses or the primary school will close, but then it becomes an addiction as the school needs to get bigger every year. At work
