Returning to the fold - possibly

As we are moving to Northern Ireland, that's the plan anyway but trying to buy a house is proving a trial but that's another story, so was looking to come back to the fold as I need something to deal with all the sunshine over there. Had a BM for the last 3 years but the lease on that runs out in September and as I have sold my business will be parting with the cash this time and so don't want to mess up. Going to see this one tomorrow which seems a good price but something is nagging at me about it as the price does seem very competitive. It has a scuffed alloy that much I do know but apart from that it looks good. There is some confusion over the colour as the advert says grey, the MOT brown and the photos look black to me. I don't remember too many dark grey MY2013/2014 on the road.

I am sure someone on here with more experience will come along with words of wisdom which would be greatly appreciated.

Couldn't for sure say what that colour is, but these are all the colour options form the 2013 brochure.

I'd say Barolo Black, but not 100% - Have a look at the plaque on the passenger side door frame when you go see the car.

nice looking motor either way Thumbs Up

Edit: Scrap that, I actually think it "Havana" seeing a few others in that colour.

Thanks J77 and Flex, much appreciated. I had rather hoped it was Orkney but will still go and look.

It looks a nice specification at a reasonable price.
As its due an MOT in Sepetember, I would suggest that you get an annual service and MOT built into the price, to be done before delivery. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Lovely looking car, not keen on cream leather interior, my kids would have it mucked up in no time.
I have to report that living here in Northern Ireland the Freelander copes really well with all our sunshine, there's a secret 'terrain response' setting your dealer will activate to cope with these conditions Rolling with laughter

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Havana

Thanks everyone for your responses. I have put a deposit down subject to seeing it this afternoon. The dealer says it is def. grey so we will see. If it is Havana then I might be bailing on it but it is a good price.

To bobupndown, we are looking at Dundrum or maybe Newcastle at a pinch. My new job means I can work from home as long as there is fast broadband which there is. We had an offer accepted last Christmas but are still waiting on the vendors finding or deciding to vacate. It is so frustrating as the house is perfect for us and nothing else we have seen comes close apart from one in Killinchy but we don't want to be there. The wife has family in Hillsborough, Dromore and Banbridge. So Dundrum maybe Newcastle is perfect for us with the beach and the mountains yet still accessible to the relatives.

Well the v5c registration document says it’s BROWN

Ask the dealer to see the V5c

Lovely part of the country and our favourite spot for caravanning in Tollymore forest.
Good luck with the car purchase and the house too. Know just how frustrating the buying process is!

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Firenze Red

My 63 plate (MY13) HSE Lux in Firenze Red has the Ivory leather but the boot is trimmed out in black. I quite like the ivory boot linings of the car you are buying. I haven't seen it before.

That said... it is fairly high maintenance - our rear seat is showroom pristine but the front seats and particularly the armrest get really grubby fairly quickly.

Love the car though.

Thanks all and yes it is Havana and actually I liked it so deal done. Fantastically well specced car at a good price and the colour appears dark grey, most of the time, but with a bronze tint especially when the sun's out.
